A LETTER TO MY PAST SELF

To the one who feels both lost and awakening,
To the one healing in silence—I see you. I understand you. And this space is for you.

Maybe some of my experiences and lessons will resonate with you. Maybe they’ll help you see yourself in a different light. After all, we are all human—each living a different reality, yet interconnected on both a cellular and emotional level.

I believe the painful experiences that break us and reshape us are not here to destroy us forever, but to teach us more about who we are. To help us grow emotionally and mentally—if we can resist letting grief and anger consume us. That’s easier said than done, of course.

It took me years of living in a negative loop, years of depression and despair, before I began to heal. But even in my darkest moments, something deep inside whispered that my life could be better. That there was a powerful being within me with a purpose for being on this planet. I believe that same truth exists in you—that deep down, you know you deserve more from life.

I’ve had to start over many times—financially, mentally, and spiritually. I’ve faced breakdowns so heavy I quit jobs because I couldn’t bring myself to get out of bed. I felt like a failure.

But I kept pushing forward—slowly, imperfectly—and that’s what matters. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. What matters is that one day, you’ll look in the mirror and see your worth. For me, it took 34 years to truly see the value and wisdom those experiences gave me.

All the good and bad in life exist in balance, if we take the lessons they offer. Growth is not a race—it’s a natural process that begins the moment we are born.
